What are the Current Styles in Casual Wedding Dress

 

There are hundreds of thousands of couples who are happily wed each and every year.  Wedding is a big business with many brides wearing bridal gowns that cost thousands of dollars by themselves alone.  Grooms often wear a tuxedo that can cost hundreds of dollars to rent.  After all of the wedding part is clothed, it can cost tens of thousands of dollars just for the clothing for a typical wedding.  Thankfully, many couples are thinking how to have a great wedding day with spending a fraction of the money.  There are a number of casual wedding dress options that couples can choose from.

 

One option that many couples prefer to choose is to simply have the bride wear a beautiful gown or dress that she can purchase from her favorite store.  Often, this dress can cost just a few hundred dollars and still look dazzling.  Some brides still prefer to have a slightly more traditional yet casual look.  This might entail a white dress but not a traditional wedding dress.  It simply depends upon the bride and groom. 

 

There are many options for men to choose from as well.  Some grooms have to have a traditional tuxedo but renting a tux is not always required.  The groom may be able to wear a beautiful suit.  Many grooms choose to purchase a suit before hand due to their many formal engagements at work and in their personal lives.  Most men have at least two or three suits that they can wear.  This makes it perfectly possible for men to have a great wedding with minimal to no cost with their suits. 

 

The bridal party has many options for a wedding as well.  Brides or maids of honor often will choose the way that the brides maids are dressed.  Picking a traditional dress over something more elaborate can be a great method of making the wedding more casual.  Some brides simply have their entire wedding party wear a white dress so that they are able to match and all look pure.  Black should never be worn to a wedding as it is a color that is never associated with joy and happiness.  Women should pick lighter colors in order to have a more relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. 

 

Once the women are all taken care of, men can go on and decide how they would like their side of the wedding party to dress.  A simple pair of slacks and a shirt with a collar are often a great way to make things more casual.  Should the bridal party want something even more casual, a great idea is to use polo shirts along with a pair of khaki pants.

 

Wedding clothing may be a major issue in your wedding.  However, do not think that you have to spend thousands of dollars to make sure you have the best clothing for your wedding.  Some of the best weddings are weddings where the entire wedding is casually clothed.
